Ethereum Launches New Venture to Boost Institutional Adoption of ETH

Ethereum, the world’s largest blockchain by total value locked, has launched a new initiative called Etherealize, which Wall Street veteran Vivek Raman will helm. The project is designed to promote the network to institutional investors and expand its presence in traditional financial markets. According to a statement on X, Etherealize aims to educate mainstream financial institutions, exchange-traded fund issuers, and the broader public about the Ethereum ecosystem. Positioned as both a content hub and a builder of institutional tools, the enterprise plans to expand ETH’s presence in financial markets like Bitcoin has. In an interview with Bloomberg, Raman, a crypto investor and decentralized finance researcher, stressed Ethereum’s unique position in the crypto space.

BlackRock Ethereum Holdings Surpass 1.2 Million ETH Amidst Strong Institutional Adoption

Ethereum (ETH) has seen a decline of 5.68% over the past week, aligning with the broader cryptocurrency market trends. Currently, ETH is trading around $3,290 as investors anticipate the resurgence of the crypto bull run. Despite this, the Ethereum community is buoyed by increasing institutional adoption, highlighted by BlackRock's significant holdings. BlackRock's ETHA leads the Spot ETF Market with net assets of 1.2009 million ETH, valued at over $3.19 billion. This surge in institutional interest is a positive indicator for Ethereum's future, as noted by Burak Kesmeci in a recent X post.

On-Chain Investigator Drops Ethereum Bombshell, Vitalik Buterin Involved In $500M Gatecoin Hack?

New reports reveal that an on-chain investigator has raised allegations connecting Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, to the $500 million Gatecoin hack in 2016. According to the crypto sleuth, Buterin’s Ethereum Foundation was allegedly transferring funds to the Gatecoin hackers’ primary wallet. TruthLabs, a popular crypto investigator and sleuth on X (formerly Twitter), has accused Buterin of being directly involved in Ethereum’s first hack in 2016, which led to the loss of tokens worth over $500 million today. The crypto analyst disclosed that the wallet funding the Gatecoin hacker had received ETH from only three wallet sources. The Gatecoin hacker’s original crypto wallet was allegedly funded by a wallet owned by the Ethereum Foundation.
